Sanur is a small town on the east side of Bali. The town is due east of Kuta and despite the abundance of restaurants and accommodation, it has a quieter and more relaxed feel to it. Sanur is a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport, or 10-15 minutes from Denpasar. Jalan Danau Tambilingan, the main street for shopping, has a number of Car rental places, as well as bicycle rentals and hundreds of metered taxis patrol the streets looking for passengers. As well as shopping an eating, there are plenty of photo opportunities to walk along the 5km path at the beach.
